Vise Vords from the Vice Capt. - Eleventh Hour
Back in my waitering days, I was very close to a certain manager of mine, her name was Marlene.
We struck up a great working relationship as well as friendship and we would often share snacks and goodies behind the kitchen doors. Sometimes, she would order desserts and ask me to share it with her.
You see, Marlene was a dedicated worker. When she ordered her desserts, they often laid still in the kitchen while she worked away at the store front. The ice cream would melt and I would have to go out and get her to finish her food before they were all gone. I would say to her,
"Marlene, come in and finish your food. Dessert cold already not nice."
